The condition of the car park was still a major concern and the board looked at several ways of improving the situation but could never find enough capital to fund the improvements needed. In 2011 WBro John Gogay put forward a bond scheme to raise sufficient funds to have the car park cleared and tarmacked. This was accepted by the board and the work was completed shortly afterwards. The scheme was so successful that a few years later another bond issue was made by the board to fund further improvements to the centre.
